Making Pumpkin Pie With Kids, Halloween Activities At Home

Daddy carved Jack! Great fun!

This guy is from one of our pumpkin memory match cards.

Our Martha Stewart stair mice.  These are also very easy to make with a template and black bristol board/construction paper.  Ours are heavy paper so we can reuse them year after year.

Xander made a couple of tiny friends at Beavers this year.

Pumpkin checkers! Pumpkin Tic Tac Toe!  These little wooden pumpkins are from the dollar store, and have been so much fun for us.  So far they have been counters, pattern makers, pumpkin addition, and now game pieces💗

We used printed Jack Skellington heads "The Pumpkin King",  to king our pumpkins.  I printed off the heads on card stock and cut them out. I took half of them and lined the mouth and brows with orange marker to make two sets.

Professional egg cracker 💕

Yum!!

We worked on this painting together.  We found this little haunted house scene on canvas at the dollar store with paints.

Applying a little colour wash

Our tiny pumpkins had a surprising number of seeds.  Our friend roasts them with salt, cinnamon, and a bit of brown sugar, so awesome!

These are vinyl window decals from Martha Stewart.

I hope everyone has a fun Halloween!
