Plural Noun Object Boxes, Montessori Language & Grammar At Home

This work is usually covered in Elementary Noun Grammar work. We have decided to incorporate some of this work now. This works for Xander since his reading has progressed so quickly and it feels right for us.
I will show you the contents we have put together for simple plural nouns in the first two boxes and then progressing to plural rules for boxes 3 and 4.

Plural object boxes are amazing.  I have four boxes. Box # 1 contains three letter words from the pink series.

Then we move along to more advanced words.

This is the "y to ies" box.  I did use a combination of images and objects in this box.

The last box are more unusual plurals.  I used images alone for this box, as I just simply could not easily come by this many multiples of very specific objects.

This is an example of our use with the objects for Elementary Plural Nouns.

These boxes were a lot of fun to make and even more fun to use!

  1. Hi. Love your blog. Question: where do you find all of the miniture objects required for the works? Thanks

    1. Thanks Stephanie!! Most of our objects came from play sets that the kids have. Playmobil has amazing small objects. I borrowed things from games and even Barbie type objects. I found things in craft and dollar stores. Montessori N Such have lots of sets to purchase. Good luck it's kind of fun searching for them:)
