Porch Play Area, Creating Additional Play Space At Home

I thought I would share this space because it's an example of carving out much needed additional play space. This area was under utilized, so it worked out really well.
This porch area is actually in rough shape so this arrangement is temporary, because this space will be replaced by our new family room that is in the planning stages.

This sun porch play area is at the back of our 1800's triple brick house.  It enters into the laundry /mudroom area.  We have one brick wall exposed, and the remaining walls are bead board that we painted white. The three large book cases are from ikea, as are the table and chairs that I painted  white also. We have a storage system inside the house for our developmental toys. This space hold all kinds of other toys, games and collections. Things like our collection of Thomas trains and track, cars and trucks with garage, large Duplo Lego and building plates, and Ava's large doll house and baby station.  The kids LOVE this area of the house.  The windows are surrounded by trees we call it "The Tree House".

All of the white bins are from the dollar store

Cheers to creating space!
