Creating A Video Game With Toys, Creating And Playing At Home With Kids

Mr. Xander asked me with great excitement,  to come and see the video game he had created.  I didn't quite know what to expect?  I came upon this beautiful display he had so carefully planned and laid out.
A cast of characters to choose from, including armour of your choosing, and equipment for your characters to use. You could choose a catapult, cannons, battlements, and horses.

Your objective was to knock down the Playmobil castle , or sink the Playmobil ship.  He had characters set up to "click", to go "back" or move side to side.

He created a video explaining the game.  He also included a "link" to other websites. I was a bit astounded to say the least. This was an incredible amount of planning and work💕

Montessori learning starts with manipulative's for all early concepts, then moves slowly toward abstraction. Granted video and computer games are not Montessori, but if this doesn't demonstrate the power of early Montessori learning I truly do not know what does!

How we love Playmobil!
