I hope that makes sense:)Cherine Muirheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01107665808653181237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190462048494164843.post-80404112266084777792013-03-01T13:59:43.372-08:002013-03-01T13:59:43.372-08:00Hi, just wondering if you could post your cursive/...Hi, just wondering if you could post your cursive/reversed document you made to use less sandpaper. ...Thank you so much!! I'm happy you found us:))
There are so many variations on how people are making these. I actually at one point thought of using adhesive felt. It comes in sheets from the craft store and you could just cut it out and stick it on what ever you are using for the boards. You could even cut out any textured paper and Mod podge it to your boards as well - hand made paper would work really well and you could colour it yourself?? Just a few thoughts...I'm sure the glue and sand method would work out just fine also:)) Let me know what you make!! Good luck:))Cherine Muirheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01107665808653181237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190462048494164843.post-69770336043452606092012-05-15T04:52:18.997-07:002012-05-15T04:52:18.997-07:00Thank you so much for sharing all you DIY knowledg...Thank you so much for sharing all you DIY knowledge! I am so excited to start making some new things! I was thinking of making these with glue piped over the letters template and sprinkling sand on the glue, as I can't stand touching sandpaper, let alone cutting it. Do you think this method would work? Otherwise I'll have to delegate the task :-)NewlingFamilynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190462048494164843.post-48324146726799149652012-01-12T17:03:49.033-08:002012-01-12T17:03:49.033-08:00This was smooth masonite from the back of a book c...This was smooth masonite from the back of a book case...I've also used some from the back of old picture frames. Any smooth masonite... mdf...thin plywood will do. Some people have used foam core board, and heavy card stock. I prefer some type of wood myself.
Living Montessori Now has a great recent Sandpaper letter post!
Good luck with it Michelle!!Cherine Muirheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01107665808653181237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190462048494164843.post-25493675488834596742012-01-12T15:41:27.657-08:002012-01-12T15:41:27.657-08:00Thank you great idea.Where did you get the wood fr...Thank you great idea.Where did you get the wood from?
MichelleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-190462048494164843.post-26891722723946315662011-10-25T08:28:12.610-07:002011-10-25T08:28:12.610-07:00Thank you!!!

I'm Montessori trained but recreating some of my favourite things, at home, on a budget can be tricky. Much appreciated.Eddiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08705986484657812416noreply@blogger.com
