I was so excited to read Living Montessori Now - DebChitwood’s new eBook Montessori at Home or School: How to Teach Grace and Courtesy
Grace and Courtesy is a part of the Montessori curriculum
that I have always been fascinated with. I thought that the direct, simple and
practical approach to teaching etiquette to children within the curriculum was
absolutely brilliant.
This book is so thoughtfully written, well laid out and
filled with detail. I was struck by the complete picture of grace and courtesy
this book represented, and how translatable it was to children of all ages and
adults.
There are many parts of this book that I will have Xander
read, and we can role play after. This book is
an incredible asset in many settings and a wonderful complete reference to have
on hand. This book is filled with ideas and inspiration to easily incorporate these lessons into your daily life, or in a more structured environment.
This is a wonderful useful book for any setting, be it an
educational setting or simply to help parents within the home. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading this book, I would highly recommend it!!
