Kids Cleaning Bucket, Montessori Practical Life At Home

I did a recent post showing some of the things we do at home in building practical life skills here.
I thought I would show you the cute cleaning bucket and supplies I put together for the kids with fun supplies mostly found at the dollar store! Often when I am cleaning they wish to join in, and the idea is that they can help themselves to their own stash of supplies.

These are microfiber dusters on short poles perfect length for kids so they are using them as hardwood floor dusters.

Microfiber hand dusters.

Cute little hand sweep and pan.

All natural pet and child friendly cleaner was from Winner's ( a local discount retailer).  I actually bought this because I couldn't find spray bottles? I will transfer half of this to another bottle so they will each have their own.  I will do refills with a vinegar water mixture as needed. They are accompanied with microfiber cleaning clothes. *UPDATE* I found little spray bottles in pink and blue at another dollar store!

The bucket to contain it all is from the dollar store as well! I did duplicates of everything so they could have ownership of their own cleaning tools. I used the colours that they had and appealed to our children but in no way for the purpose of denoting gender.

Our kitchen broom is half size for the kids to use and they love it!

It has been a couple of year since I created this post and I will say that the kids love it every bit as much not as the day I put this together!
