Making Flags, Montessori Geography Resources At Home

Flag images are can be found most anywhere online for this project.

These are printed iron on transfer sheets. We decided on the size of flags we wanted to make and printed them.  I used white crisp cotton twill for ours. Be sure to leave a little extra on the left side of your flags to fold the material over to insert your dowel. Hot glue a portion of your dowel to the fabric so it does not slide out. I used meat skewers and cut off the sharp point.

Finished Flags!
We created these flags for a few countries on our continent, to add to our continent boxes.

This was a super simple fun project.
